Patrick founded Mobinnov in 2011 as a Mobile Software Design Studio that builds cutting edge mobile solutions that require both device apps and cloud services. He also founded and still manages 4SmartPhone, a company offering enterprise-class mobile computing solutions to small and medium size businesses. Before founding 4SmartPhone, Gilbert founded Presence IT, Inc. in 2001, a custom IT solutions company with a focus on mobility, which became the origin of 4SmartPhone.

Prior to that, Gilbert was executive vice president of Isaac Newton Technologies, for which he raised more than $4.4 million and restructured it from a small R&D lab in Canada, to a more mature startup company.  Under his watch, INT opened sales offices across the US and released its first wireless software radio product in 2000. Prior to Isaac Newton Technologies, Gilbert was the senior vice president and chief technology officer for the WAVO Corporation, where he spearheaded the partnership of WAVO and Virgin Entertainment Corporation to develop VirginJamCast, an Internet-based secure digital music distribution system and e-commerce service. As V-P Business Development of WAVO, Gilbert also established key strategic partnerships and technology licensing agreements with Microsoft, Compaq, PBS and Intel, some including investments of more than $4 millions.

Gilbert is also credited with the development of WaveTop, the first nationwide data broadcasting consumer product included in Windows 98 Operating System. Prior to WAVO Corporation, Patrick co-founded BleuMont Telecom, which pioneered PC-based data broadcasting

Prior to BleuMont Telecom, Gilbert was project manager for DTI Telecom, an Engineering consulting firm based in Montreal, QC.  Gilbert graduated in Electrical Engineering from the École Poytechnique, University of Montreal.

While doing R&D work in Montreal for WavePhore-WAVO, Inc. in 1996, he was the brainchild behind an innovative service called WaveTop that got the attention of the company’s executives. He was then transferred to Phoenix, and his initial idea was at the heart of redefining the company's business model. Soon after, Microsoft integrated WaveTop into its Windows 98 OS. The service later evolved into Virgin Jamcast, a Virgin Music-Wavo partnership for distributing digital music and the first US nation-wide deployed IP Multicast commercial service.

Marcel subsequently worked at Discovery Channel for five years as the New Media Group technical manager, where he was responsible for the development and deployment of Discovery.com asset management system, ITV services and Broadband Video portal. Among his accomplishments at Discovery are the development of the first U.S. iTV ratings study in 2003 and interactive advertising trials with Accenture and Starcom MediaVest Group, as well as Discovery Home Media Center portal showcased during Bill Gates’ keynote at CES 2005.

Between 2005 and 2006, Marcel worked as consultant on Video and New Media projects for clients such as Microsoft, USA Today and National Geographic. In 2007, Mr. Marcel founded the start-up venture BuddyCast, Inc. - a patent-pending, internet-based virtual theater that allows people to program their viewing and watch movies and television programming together simultaneously, regardless of their location.

Before coming on board with Mobinnov, Marcel worked for the last 2 years as a consultant on various internet video projects, including a one-year consultancy with the National Cancer Institute on a virtual reality-based platform for health e-learning and public messaging. The project received the 2010 NIH’s Director Merit Award.

Marcel's college education in Canada includes a mix of Arts and Software Engineering curriculum. He likes to moniker himself as a “Creative Technologist”.

Stephen acquired his first programming job with Data-General Eclipse just a few months after starting college where he programmed a system that managed all the beer delivery to the entire province for Brewers Retail of Ontario.

Writing code for a living soon accelerated Stephen past anything that college could have taught him about programming. So it wasn’t long before Stephen was teaching programming classes, and instructing his professors on coding techniques.

For Stephen, excitement isn’t so much in the code, but in its applications. For Stephen, the real challenge is not just copying a business process and developing an application, but completely analyzing a process to improve it and deliver greater value.

Stephen worked for Cognos Inc. - a Pioneer in object-oriented coding and then Sybase, the leader in multi-threaded relational databases, where prototyped applications for customers to prove how the software would work in their own environment.

In 1985, Stephen formed Ward Consulting,which later became NetWard Consulting. Stephen's clients were the who’s who of Canadian business, including The Royal Bank of Canada, TD Bank, The Montreal Stock Exchange, The Toronto Stock Exchange, The Ontario Ministry of Social Services, The Ontario Ministry of Health, Westbury Life insurance, Coopers and Lybrand . These projects ranged in $5 - $20 million scope. Stephen was the system architect on all of these projects and much of his staff were the lead developers.

Stephen was asked to speak at Comdex in 1993,1994 and 1995. It was at the 1995 Comdex that Stephen gave a presentation of Commerce and the Internet where he predicted the convergence of the Internet and Media, and more specifically, interactive TV.

In 1999 Stephen fulfilled his prophecy by inventing interactive TV. By using a standard TV remote you could click on elements displayed on the screen, get information and buy products without leaving the couch. Stephen's technology is called EmpacTV, which he continues to develop.

Strephen was the President of the TSUG (Toronto Sybase User Group) from 1995 to 2000, a speaker at the Ann Arbor LIS Symposium in 1994 and 1995, the Developer of the OLIS (Open Lab Information System), and the Developer of Safety Officer II (MSDS) www.safetyofficer.com.

Tracy began his career as the Creative Director for a $450 million dollar annuity company. For eleven years he was responsible for creating marketing materials (print and online media) directed to the company's sales force of over 2500 agents.

In 2005, Tracy founded T-WORX, Inc., a company specializing in professional DotNetNuke (DNN) solutions and well-known as one of the founding pillars of the DotNetNuke ecosystem. Tracy has been using DotNetNuke since its inception and is the author of "DotNetNuke Websites - Problem Design Solution", published by Wrox in 2008. He's been a speaker at several ASP.Net/DotNetNuke events including DotNetNuke Openforce 07 and 08, Day of DotNetNuke Orlando and Tampa, South Florida Code Camp, Orlando Code Camp, Sarasota BarCamp and several local DotNetNuke user group meetings in Florida.

More recently, Tracy has been an advocate of mobile tag technology and brings a passion for digital marketing strategies, including online, mobile and social media marketing, to the Mobinnov team.
